Water sensitive urban design (WSUD) is an approach to the planning and design of urban environments focused on integrating the urban water cycle (including potable water, wastewater and stormwater) with the built and natural urban landscape.

This information session will cover some basic principles and design options to help you maximise water efficiency at home, while minimising costs and environmental impacts. Topics covered include rainwater harvesting and reuse, greywater, permeable and porous paving, vegetated swales and buffer strips, and raingardens and plant species selection.

Information for this session is sourced from Water Sensitive SA and presented by Gawler Environment Centre.

Gawler Environment Centre is funded by Green Adelaide.
