Elvira wanted to live more sustainably and with minimal belongings so what did she do? She built her own tiny home! She now lives totally off grid in a beautiful light and bright home, complete with a composting loo. She didn’t have the building skills she needed to begin with, but she picked them up along the way, and now she wants to share her journey with others. Come along to find all about the ins and outs of tiny home building and get some inspiration for your own project.

Elvira is also passionate about recycling and helping others to downsize and live a more sustainable life. She has started her own business, Chuck Green, which offers services including home organising and decluttering, recycling assistance, help with deceased estate clear outs, garage sales, and responsible rehoming of household items. Customers can rest assured that every effort is made to give unwanted goods a second life. Find out all about what Chuck Green has to offer and get some top tips for your own decluttering project.

Gawler Environment Centre is funded by Green Adelaide.
