Description: Green cylindrical stems in fairly dense clumps. Small flowers appear in winter, spring at the top of stems. Fruit/seed is brown.

Growing and distribution: Wetland plant growing on the edge of creeks and dams and in damp areas.

Specific location issues: Planting in riparian wetlands is possible as long as feet are wet.
