Description: Perennial daisy with soft dark green leaves. Large yellow flowers in spring. Die back by autumn.  Large juicy underground bulbs.

Growing and distribution: Recorded from coast to hills mostly in well drained soils.

Beneficial Attributes: Tubers are roasted and eaten by Aboriginal people. Nectar food plant. Attracts native bees.
