Common name: Knobby Club-rush
Height: 0.4-0.8m
Width: 0.2-0.4m

Description: Bright green cylindrical stems in open clumps.  Small flowers appear in spring at the side of stems.  Round brown seed heads about 1cm across.

Growing and distribution: Wetland plant growing on the edge of creeks and dams and in damp areas. Generally in coastal areas or in the foothills.

Note: Sedge is okay with feet wet in the riparian or wetland areas.
