Description: Upright shrub with dark leaves. Clusters of yellow ball-shape flowers. Black seeds.

Growing and distribution: Most parts of region, range of soils. Can die out after 5-10 years but some are lon-lived.

Beneficial Attributes: Aborigines used seeds roasted and eaten, nectar food plant and provides habitat for foraging birds.
