Why is fire so important for water, land, people and animals? How can fire help landholders manage their land and increase productivity?
Join Courtney Hunter-Hebberman, Peramangk custodian, cultural educator, and fire practitioner, to hear all about healing country and people. Listen to stories and reconnect with your inner senses to feel connection to the land.
We will start with a presentation at Gawler Environment Centre and then move to Dead Man’s Pass Reserve to walk and learn about plants and landscapes. Lunch will then be provided in the park.
Please let us know if you can’t make it on the day to give others an opportunity to join in and for catering purposes.
This information session is funded by the Northern and Yorke Landscape Board. Gawler Environment Centre is funded by Green Adelaide.
