Free Workshop

How to Build a Wicking Bed

Are you struggling to keep your veggies alive during hot weather? If so come along to a free wicking bed workshop at Sandy Creek Primary School, presented by Gawler Environment Centre and Barossa Bushgardens. These water efficient beds are perfect for small spaces and installation on hard surfaces, and they require less frequent watering than conventional irrigated beds. The workshop will involve a demonstration build on site so you can pick up handy hints for building your own wicking bed.
