Learn a new skill, using the oldest craft

Cost: $50 for NRC members and $60 for non-members

In the morning you will learn how to make string out of many different plant fibres. Then use the string to start a small bag using a traditional knotless netting technique. In the afternoon you will make a small wearable amulet.
Things to bring:
– Lunch (morning and afternoon tea will be supplied)
old towel to wrap damp fibres
– large eye wool needle (if you have)
– beads and small feathers to decorate your amulet
All necessary fibres and materials including needles will be supplied.
